Upgrade your ALP HD to a 2K or 4K playfield monitor and improve the playfield quality and OTG flipper response time for a dramatic difference to your pinball experience.

Three kit options are available - the Mounting Kit for easily installing compatible playfield monitors and the additional Conversion Kits to make the ALP tables work with the new screen. Purchase together for savings.

The Mounting Kit comes with everything you need to install, position and level your new screen. Because your new screen will be connected via Display Port, it will not connect natively to your ALP. But if you are gut-modding your ALP to only run via PC (or other front end) then this kit may be all you need. NOTE: Mounting kit will not connect your ALP controls (buttons etc.) or backbox sound to your PC. You need to rewire an encoder board or switch "blind" to OTG for that.

The v2.6 Conversion Kit comes with everything you need to make the ALP v2.6 motherboard connect to the upgraded playfield screen. You can switch back and forth just like you currently can and requires no other changes to your cabinet controls. NOTE: Conversion Kit REQUIRES v2.6 motherboard.

The Blind OTG Conversion Kit comes with everything you need to make the ALP v2.5 (or older) motherboards connect OTG to the upgraded playfield screen including sound and controls. With our automated OTG dongle, the blind switching is done when you press the VIBS button. Your stock ALP controls will work over OTG with your PC.NOTE: Will NOT play ALP tables, only OTG PC tables.

Full video instructions for installation included. This installation is of moderate-hard difficulty similar to our popular Haptics Kit install.

Q: I am looking at the ALP HD Playfield Upgrade Kit,, but I have the V2.2 motherboard. So what exactly is included, and is the purpose of the Blind OTG kit?

A: With the v2.2 board, you won't be able to see the native ALP screen, so you can't play the native tables. When switching to OTG to use your PC, you then have to switch "blind", to transfer your controls to the PC. We have a little dongle to attach to the VIBS button to make that easier. That is what the "Blind" kit will do.

 

Q: I want to upgrade my playfield but would rather not lose the option to play the ALP tables. I do not have the v2.6 motherboard - do I have any options?

A: You can upgrade the motherboard to a v2.6 board and then get the full conversion kit to retain the ALP tables. AtGames can provide upgraded boards, and we may have a small amount of boards available as well - contact us for details. NOTE: You may need to get AtGames to transfer your account to the new motherboard as the UUID will change.
